Rachel is a seasoned bookkeeping professional with nearly two decades of hands-on experience helping businesses stay financially organized and focused. She thrives on creating order out of numbers, streamlining workflows, and making sure the back office runs as smoothly as the front line.

Since 2017, Rachel has supported Finley Inspection Services in a fully remote capacity, handling everything from full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll to liaising with subcontractors and client A/P departments. She’s well-versed in programs like QuickBooks Online, Sage 50, Payworks, SharePoint, and multiple industry-specific invoicing systems, which allows her to adapt quickly to whatever process a client uses.

Before that, Rachel spent time as an Accounting Assistant with Joey’s Restaurants, where she worked closely with owners and managers, ensuring accurate reporting and payroll.

 

She has also provided freelance bookkeeping for small businesses through Tax AdVise and held long-term roles as an Administrative Manager and Office Manager/Bookkeeper — experience that gave her a deep understanding of the day-to-day challenges business owners face.

Computer programs utilized: Sharepoint, QuickBooks Online (2 yrs) migrated from Sage 50 (5 yrs), Cortex/Open Invoice, GEP Smart (Chevron), PIMS (Trans Mountain), Microsoft Office 360, Payworks Payroll.
